How can we practice Gandhijirsquos principles in our lives?

Question

How can we practice Gandhijirsquos principles in our lives?

Answer

the basic principles of Gandhiism are not difficult to follow in our life, they are truth, simplicity, honesty, and ahimsa nonviolence. The last one is the most discussed about, mostly because we live in a very violent world. It is difficult to remain nonviolent in such a world. brbrBut Gandhijees life and his examples prove that injustice and violence can be opposed through peaceful means too. His principle was to win the enemys heart, and make him feel that he is wrong and thereby changing his attitude. Gandhijee knew that he is faced by a very violent and strong enemy...the British empire. Through many examples he exposed the true face of British rule in India, make the English feel that they are oppressive. brbrSo, basically we can practice most of the principles of Gandhijee in our lives, remaining non violent in front of a violent enemy is the most discussed and questionable, my opinion is that the principle of nonviolence should be practiced from a case to case basis. Individually one can remain nonviolent.
